Two new works (a Black & White and a special commission)

At the Cambridge Autumn Festival Exhibition in March, all the black and white paintings sold.

I think this is because many people have a minimalistic theme throughout their home and this particular black and white form appears to fit in with their colour scheme.

I have done this small one which features a jazz band and which looks great in this form.

The other one utilises all the colour which i absolutely love. 

All my favourite artists Matisse, the German Expressionists, use  strong colour and have a similar (I would like to think that of course ) passion  for colour as i do.

The first painting is called Friday Night and is meant to show the Joie de Vivre of Friday night after a hard day's work at the end of a tough week.I  had a friend who would express herself in this sort of dancing when the situation called for it!

I recently completed a commission for a group of staff members for their retiring boss  and painted their particular work establishment. It was difficult but the response from staff and their boss was worth a million dollars to me in satisfaction.
